Here in MPLS storms are moving in for tonights primetime.

Does anyone one have any good DVD or analog sources for FOX? The only DVD
ones I know are:

G10 Ku-band has WMQF. The picture is very soft(BLURRED), and the audio is
hard to lock. There seems to be a lip sync problem. Sometimes I loose
lock, a signal strength issue.

G3-Cband, KPBI. This picture is soft with a color shift, but livable.
Unfortunately, the audio is about 12dB down.

AMC7-9, KTBY. The audio is overdriven and mono, and the picture is soft.

Anyone find something better?

I know FOX will be showing the weather all during primetime, just like
last night. So 24 will be a bust!

It's DVB, not DVD.

I was hoping for more useful information, then a typo error!

Hardly a typo when it occurs in every usage, in consecutive sentences.

[BTW, did you mean "*than* a typo error" ??]

Get a life. Either be helpful or shutup!

This is one of the reasons this NG is dying.

No, the lack of discussion of actual TVRO subjects is the reason it
is dying. The consecutive posts complaining about ones OTA affiliate
(as if we care) being the only posts in a 24 hour period is another
reason.

Paranoia about posting feed findings (ring a bell?) is yet another
reason this NG is dying.

Get any responses to your question? No, I didn't think so. Try Lyngsat.

Shucks, you really like to hurt people. You should go into politics.

Your compassion to supply valueable TVRO info is COMPLETEY demonstrated by
your posts.

I am indeed gratefull for for your info, and will be directly applying it to
my TVRO viewing needs/problems!

Geez... are we coming to this?

uH, I am about to edit that "24" episode. If I don't mess it up, I will
make an extra copy.

Speaking of the two hour finale of "CSI" -- What shift do you want to
take in the search for the feed, uH? I am planning to be on the look
from midnight to about 8:00 AM ET, Thursday. Then, I must snooze. With
luck, it will air at the normal time and place. I don't know if there
is time for a two hour feed, though.

If it doesn't feed at 1:30 AM ET, Thursday on IA6-18, it's hard to say
what the time or place will be. I am hoping it will at least be on IA6.

I am not going to take the time to spelllll chec thiss, so take a deep
breeth, rik.

Thanks, but I lucked out, the local transmission was flawless. 1 hour
earlier there were warnings and radar overlays. But during 24 it was
clean.

I can take the morning and afternoon shift. The last CSI:LV 90 min show
ran in the afternoon on IA6-06 at 1530ET. I missed the first 15 because
of Med. Investigation on IA6-21 @ 1500. CSI:MI ran an afternoon feed on
IA6-17 @ 1430ET. It also ran on IA6-04 @ 1430 once, had tech problems and
restarted at 1500ET. Since this is a 120min feed and the ones I mention
above were 90min, we'll just have to hunt for it. Hopefully it will run
at its normal location. The transponder time is open then. Also IA5-14/23
has CBS feeds on occassion.
