But I don't steal a porsche because I want one and can't afford it. My
Commodore is fine.
Do you see the similarity between that and watching FTA v piracy of
Foxtel/Austar?

Nothing was said about piracy (or free foxtel). They are only
offering extra boxes without cards.
You then plug in your legitimate
card.

decryption sharing is piracy.

In a nutshell.

Nah, not really....

You would have to have a sub, to utilise this 'service'...
If you were using it in your own home, then I doubt whether legal eagles
would take you to task over it.
However, using the 'system' over the internet, would/could pose problems if
caught out...but then again so could downloading MP3's.................

Quoted "Want to share across the internet, or your home? Any irdeto based
service!"

Can you explain to me how sharing over the Internet is not piracy? Sharing
across the Internet suggests that one valid card is being used from one
location to provide for many, doesn't it? Or shall I just try and physically
cram my valid card down the phone line when someone wants to borrow it and
then try and get it back? Hey Simmo, you want it? Here it comes:)
Oh dang, it snapped!

And for anyone thinking of giving me the tech lowdown, it is a rhetorical
question, I know full well exactly the different flavours of software and
interfaces with thier functions, possibly more than those using them:)
