Although I can sympathise with Jim Watt, anyone who makes honest comments
on the Den about how it is run is booted off.
Probably why people make comments on other forums and NG's such as this. And
to show that lots of people are unhappy about the way that particular forum
is run.
In my opinion these comments are sat related and have a place here.

If you don't like it, don't go there. There is NO reason to reproduce
the rubbish here as the length that it is reposted.

AND if you don't like the content of a forum and the sysop pisses
you off, go start your own and compete. I quick search of google
reveals plenty of free software for the purpose.

For instance

http://www.phpbb.com
http://www.xsorbit.com

My opinion is that shit-for-brains posters should be poked with a
pointed stick, rather than have podiatric surgery.

In that case, just don't use it. Go somewhere else. Set up your own
forum. Constantly bleating about this guy with the stupid nick, and
his message boards, will get you precisely nowhere.

They are related to a particular forum and the way it is run, and
really have little relevance here.

People come here for sat info and that may include info on other
forums. That's like you saying if you get a bad deal from a sat dealer and
they mess you around or don't supply the goods, don't tell us on here about
it go to the dealer.
Many people will have to look for new forums now that Sat Dudez is gone.
Who are you to say what is or is not applicalbe on here ?
The Den is a very good forum, not because of the head honcho but inspite of
the head honcho. If people what to make comments about different forums I
feel they should be able to.
You are not an NG censor so take a hike.

That is no reason to post large amounts of crap in UPPER CASE

Lets talk about satellite TV. If its like that on these boards
I'm not surprised the people running them pull the plug.

Wrt the latter, this (alt.satellite.tv.europe) group would never be an
appropriate place to post keys. alt.satellite.tv.crypt might find them
acceptable...

I'm very disappointed like many others at the closing of Satudez, a truly
great forum run by a top guy,Kink. I haven't seen any info as to why this
forum has closed. I'm surprised 'cos I thought Kink would have explained
somewhere his reasons for closing this forum.
I read that it was reopening on a new and bigger server, and then later
that Kink had decided not to reopen.
There certainly has been a lot of turmoil over the past week and no one
seems to have that much news on what actually happened, and if anyone in the
UK was visited by the piracy authorities.
Was anyone arrested, was any equipment confiscated etc ???????????

That's what a search engine is for. This is not an appropriate place
for endless bitching about 'toecutter' and his latest antics.

Not a good analogy. Try again.

Google for them. Or set up your own. Half-literate bitching about
one particular forum doesn't change a thing.

They could try making their comments even semi-literate, so that they
don't come across like a bunch of poorly-educated spotty 'leet' oiks.
