After TARBS' failure I've lost trust to sat.TV service providers. Especially
when I saw the crapy web site of the UBI World TV
(http://www.ubiworldtv.com/) I tought it is another TARBS which may fade
away in time. (I hope I'm mistaken). Therefore I do not want to buy receiver
from them but may be only the their smart card.

Can some tell me which sat. receiver I can use with UBI World TV's smart
card?

UBI is owned by Boulos, who suprising enough was the old TARBS owner.
If you have your old Tarbs Set Top Unit, you can use it to access UBI
channels.
These channels are free at the moment and have been for a number of months.
Once UBI is up and running fully the channels will be encrypted and you will
need to subscribe to have access to the channels provided.
If you were an ex Tarbs subscriber UBI will use your old equipment for
access and will not supply any new equipment.

They activated the encrytion yesterday. I do not have Tarbs receiver and I
do not want to have UBI's receiver.
Is there any other way to receive the encrypted channels?

They havent activated any encryption yet apart from selected channels, they
are slowly encrypting the service as they release the differrent packages on
the market for consumers.
Im still watching all my channels and im using the old tarbs stu.
If you dont purchase their stu or use an old tarbs stu unfortunatly my
friend when they totaly encrypt the service you will not be receiving any
UBI.
