I've been having trouble with the remote on my dish receiver and now
this morning the receiver won't even turn on. I press the power button
on the front and the light comes on, the screen blinks, and then the
light goes out. I called dish today and they recommended I sign up for
the $5.99 warranty program, get a refurb 501, and then cancel the
warranty program. So I bit and it is on the way. Anybody else ever gone
through this before?
