My grandson has austar installed with a extra box in his room , both boxes
are using seperate dishes what i would like to know can he bring any one of
his boxes to my place when he stays with me.We change his boxes around and
they did not work we swaped them back and they both worked again .How do you
get on when you move house do you have to get austar to reset your boxes.

If you have an old installation at your place with all the cabling and dish.
His box should work at your place.
The only thing that may be different is the frequency of the LNB.
This can be changed in the Austar Menu Setup.

You may find one of the boxes (if an old style setup) has the lnb power
tuened off, the second beox when you remove it will probably need the lnb
power turned on in the menu setup user settings
