Dreambox 5620 manual? |

Hi!
I'm new here, yesterday I bought DreamBox 5620s, but didn't get manual, I
tryed finding it on net, but I only found on German, anyone know whre I can
find it on English?
Or any kind of tutorials and how-to's for DreamBox, but on english.

mail them and ask! ... the DM7000s manual is on their site in english.
lots of features in common with your one so it could be of some use to you.
Did you not get a cdrom with your box? ... |

No, I didn't get it, nor cdrom nor manual, only reciever, remote control, 2
batteries and warranty.
I already download manualfor 7000, but didn't know how much is the
difference. |

Where did you buy it, in a pub ?
Does not sound legal to me, a receiver without the manual...

Lots of people lose manuals and then still sell crap on secondhand (or,
especially, third or fourth hand). Even without a thief in the chain.

I have just taken delivery of a 5620, the manual that came with it was
for the 5600 (they are almost identical). It only "became" a 5620 when I
loaded a hydra image via serial cable, until then the link light refused
to light up on the switch. Other than the lack of USB port, IDE
controller, and the reduced memory they are the same to program as the
7000. Just ensure that the image you attempt to load via dreamup
(specific to the 5620) is suitable.
