Is this DirecTV? Are you a customer? Then call customer service:
1-800-Directv. They can to a reset over the satellite.

I think that is unplug but not knowing which model it is difficult to
say. Go to <http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/learn/Manuals.dsp> for the
manual.
From my old manual hold Info and left arrow down for three seconds on
the unit. If this fails unplug for 15 seconds to 2 minutes. Run a
system test from the menu if you still have problems,
