"Night Stalker" on wildfeed? |
|
|
Does anyone know if "Night Stalker" will be shown on a wildfeed? If
so, does anyone know which satellite and transponder I would most
likely find it on?
If not, does anyone know if I'll be able to see it on T5-1 or any of
the other ABC feeds? (I have almost now experience with network feeds.) |

I looked up some info at Internet Movie Database. It's production
company is Touchstone Television and it's distributed by ABC. Does
that help?
Thanks for all the info. It's going to be a big help.

And that certainly gave me a chuckle.

East feeds of ABC are currently ITC, but there's no guarantee that this will
remain so. T6/3, and at least 3 channels on T5 have the ABC East feed and,
barring encryption or discontinuance of the feed, should be viewable at the
show's regularly scheduled time. Another place to look is the ABC Closed
Circuit feeds. These occur on the regular ABC feed channels at times when
regular programming is not scheduled. 1000-1100 weekdays usually has
internal ABC traffic of promos and PSAs, but occasionally shows a prefeed of
an ABC show, usually beginning about quarter past the hour. The 1200-1300
slot is also open but used less frequently. The two hours after ABC soaps
1600-1800 may also be used. "Blind Justice" and "N.Y.P.D." appeared there
last season.
One caveat: I noticed some strange activity in the 1200-3000 slot today (TH
9/22). ABC was doing some testing using the previous night's episode of
"Invasion". There was no audio (blank carriers on 6.2/6.8), and the video
consisted of the bottom 40% of the screen with the top 60% black. The video
was not squished. Only the bottom 40 % was visible. I don't know if they're
testing some new encryption method or what, but it doesn't bode well.

IMDb is usually pretty reliable, though I've sent in my share of
corrections. Touchstone TV is part of the ABC/Disney/BuenaVista
conglomerate. A few weeks into last Fall's season all primetime BuenaVista
feeds formerly ITC on G4R-14, and sometimes G4R-23 moved to digital
transmission. Some syndicated daytime programming is still ITC, but it's
shows like "Tony Danza", "Millionaire" and "Home Improvement". No reason to
think they'd feed any primetime shows ITC now.

You are correct. Also the secondary feed was on Tr 24, not 23. |
