I had my Wildblue service installed on 9-20-05, I subscribe to the select pack. My equipment was $313.95 including tax. My install was free however they charged me a $50.00 trip charge and $25.00 for the 2/38" to 2" adapter for a total of $75.00. My downloads average 960 and my uploads average 190. I am very happy with this service and hope it continues. Secure site are fast and web pages load quickly. I am allowed 16 gigs down and 4 gigs up.

What a ripoff!

You can do half a gig a day on dialup which works out to 15 gigs/month.

ISP for $5.50/month at http://www.550access.com

yep if I would have had a dial up that jogged instead of crawled
I would have never even tried Star-Shit so unless you live next door
to the telephone building or got fiber buried in your yard crawling
has even slowed down to laying around

Yah, I hear ya! Unfortunately, phone companies are staffed by lazy union employees so instead of maintaining the copper loops, the phucktards drive around in their trucks eating donuts, drinking coffee and bitching about not making enough money.
