My wife & I subscribe to Dishnet with the Korean programming package added
on. On Oct 1st we were sad to see that the SBS channel was no longer
avilable on Dish. Dishnets response when I called them was to contact SBS
America and complain about this loss of service.

That's when I learned the Dish lost the contract with SBS and they'd signed
a deal with Direct TV. If Dishnet knew that to begin with, why tell their
customers to complain to SBS?

Oh BTW... although we now have only 2/3 of the Korean programming we signed
up for, Dishnet has made no offers to adjust the price we pay for the
package.

If someone knows of any legal recourse we could take, please let's hear it.
Much thanks!
Dish-satisfied?

Glad I read this as I am trying to decide whether to go with Direct or Dishnet services. I also want Korean Programming as my wife is Korean.

At the sake of sounding like an ad...
Switch to DirecTV. They LOVE former Dish customers.
Plus, you only need one ird for the regular and Overseas channels.
