Postby thijs de jong » Sun Dec 19, 2004 2:11 pm

Hello,

I'm going to Iraq in a few weeks and I'm looking for some good maps to use
with my Oziexplorer and my Mentor2 GPS Who can help me?
I'm interested in everything.
Thanks

We have this pointer, but have not had a chance to look into it:
http://www.maptech.com/products/onsdiraq/index.cfm

A less expensive solution would be Garmin's WorldMap, but with much less
detail: http://gpsinformation.us/Maps/world-maps.htm

Lighten up, I read only the humor in it. Gave me a chuckle.

I only realised after I sent the post it was a regular from another group
I frequent who made the comment :-}

I`ve had a couple of bad days in work, forgive me :-}

Quite understandable. Glad I am not the one needing maps of Iraq though.

I have been enjoying this group for the last couple of days. Beats the heck
out of the HBO Saturday night fights combined with Saturday Night Live
mixed in for kicks. Too bad some posters have actually brought reason into
the discussions. I mean the topics have run the gamut from GPS navigation
to moss on trees. Where else can you find such a wide range of discussion?

Hint to Juergen and Mx, keep it up, I am really enjoying it.

Hope things go better for you soon. I have been off for a few days with a
case of walking pneumonia and this group has certainly kept me entertained.

Best wishes! And Happy Holidays

It's pretty clear from the tsunami of posts in this forum, that George will
be turning off GPS pretty soon, and I'd be that the Middle East will be the
first place to go... =)

Not another imbecilic moron with reading comprehension problems who
can't see that the OP he's responding to was being sarcastic and was
making fun of the WMD claims, are you?
