Hello,

just emailed this to Garmin - hope this helps. Did anyone see the same
propblem?

When a certain "Goto/FollowRoad" is active, my 60CS locks whenever I
access the Highway page.

Conditions:

My home location is Denzlingen, DEU (Germany). The selected
destination was Schröcken, AUT (Austria). The calculated route length
is 250 km. The problem happens with maps loaded, covering the whole
area in between, from City Select Europe V6 *or* V7. I found the
problem with receiver firmware 3.50, then I upgraded to 3.61 beta, and
the problem persists.

The problem disappears if I cut about 20 kilometers from the beginning
*or* from the end of the route. I did not find out if the criterion
was the route length, or the number of calculated turns in it, or the
use of certain streets.

Appearance of the problem:

The route is calculated in normal time, and I am guided correctly as
long as I don't switch to the Highway page. If I do, I see different
effects:

1 - the highway page is displayed, but the route line is not. I waited
one minute. All keys are dead. No beep when I press a key. Unlike
other lockups, a 10 seconds key press of the power key does not shut
down the unit. I have to remove the batteries.

2 - like before, but the beep appears for each key withourt doing
anything, and a 10 seconds key press of the power key shuts the unit
down.

3 - like before, with *part of* the route line displayed, but it does
not move at all.

4 - like before, and after few seconds the unit shuts down by itself.
