I have an IPAQ2210 with TTNav 3. I need to get to B from my home address via
a route which i want. If i just let TTNav3 do it's own thing, it doesn't go
the route i want it to go. How do i 'force' it to go along certain roads. I
even used the 'itinerary' and created about 10 points then saved them all,
but i got strange things happening. I would get to point 3 then it would
make me go back to point 2, asking me to 'turn around when possible'.

How can i simply make it go over a certain pre-defined route without having
to set up checkpoints and navigate to them all, or do i have to do this.
There must be an easier way ??

Cheers

In the itinerary did you have a single start point and a single
destination with all your points in between marked as 'drive by' and
sorted in the correct order?

While viewing the map, in the tools menu there is an option for 'avoid
area' . This will bring up a re-sizeable box that that you can use to
define keep out areas. You can have multiple keep out areas.
(Resize box and press the OK in the corner of the box) In the same menu
there is the option to clear the boxes.

In the same menu there is an option for an 'alternative route' which may
not route you where you want but it will be different.

This happens when you didn't get close enough to point 2 to convince
TTN3 that you actually visited point 2.

Is there a manual override? I.e. tell it that you are no longer interested
in point 2 and now want to proceed directly to point 3?
